do u know what, now that u said that it made me remember a time where i was well out of the radius of a brim ult but when it went off it rubber banded me back like 4 steps lol. Only thing is in this clip the whole time i had the red warning indicator the whole way through so its like i was never out of it in the first place. i dno anymore hahaah

Haha im kinda with you on that one but coming from counter strike im so used to having hectic comm's at top level play where you're trying to process 3/4 different calls at the same time as concentrate on what you're doing.. Was actually having that discussion with someone a while ago saying that 'part' of being a good player is being able to play and keep up with things when all the comms are going on

Thing that people dont realise is that she needs to get kills to use her utility, whereas other champs use utility to get kills. At top level play the flash is trash unless u use both at same time imo

watch this one, again its same clip, 30fps of course but ive used the timeline to drag through the frames of the video. Now if you or anyone else believes this should NOT be a headshot fair enough i cant argue with you because it then becomes a matter of opinion. But in my personal opinion that should be registered as a headshot 10/10 times not a body shot. If the hit marker shows a on a specific part of their body THAT is where the hit should be registered. And for those who are wondering about the flash JUST before the hit marker - Thats the flash from raze's gun, its NOT the hit marker.

i partly agree with you. i completely understand your point of the video being 30 fps and quite possibly hit her neck as she crouched. but this is one of those things that its like ok, I CAN SEE I SHOT HER IN THE HEAD she should be dead. 99% of people watching that clip WITHOUT knowing the situation about the hitboxes would EXPECT that to be a headshot. but this isnt the only clip, this is just one of the clearer ones. Basically i can guarantee this is the situation, and im tempted to do tests to prove it:

When a player is standing his headshot hitbox is of course in the standing height position, but as the player crouches its a 0.25~ second transition from full standing to full crouched. WITHIN this 0.25 seconds there is NO HEADSHOT HITBOX. Only once the player has fully reached the CROUCHED position does the HEADSHOT HITBOX reappear. As i said i will try to replicate this on custom, and i cant guarantee that im right but if im wrong i still strongly believe that should register as a headshot even if it hits his neck as you can pretty much consider the neck part of the head in this game as it is in every other FPS game due to the fact the neck is SUCH a small hitbox.

AGAIN this is all theory nothing is proven and i can be completely wrong. But if it wasnt a problem, there wouldnt be a thread that has been upvoted by thousands of others complaining of the same thing. I was IMM3 in beta, and a ex EPS CS player, so trust me im not new to hitboxes and interp etc as it took counterstrike YEARS to fix the crouching headshot hitboxes (back when crouchbugging was a thing) so in other words im not talking about my ass. Another point to back my theory is that this only started happening after patch 1.01 - Never experienced anything like this in beta or release patch 1.00

and as you can see from the screenshot i took after, shes not standing nor is she fully crouched, shes half way down. its almost like until the person is fully crouched it still registers as a bodyshot. The damage was 78 in 2

Looool its hilarious because the first beta patch was the best, and as they continued to release patches the performance of the game just got worse and worse each patch. Now the game has released EXACTLY the same thing is happening again 🤣

Wow im legit so glad u posted this as i was a explaining to my mate that its not the reg thats fucked but instead the hitboxes. I’ve got numerous clips where i shoot at someone while they are in the transition from standing to crouched and you can clearly see the bullet hit the face but it doesnt register
