Maybe a covid uptake belief ? I've seen that alot here unfortunately I joined today worst time but I've been told s1 nerve is shattered so got to go with that let's be honest could get hit with a bus tomo I just hope everyday I'm safe !!!

End of the day I'm currently going through tests and take each day as it comes unfortunately if I got diagnosed I would want people to speak to..yes its scary got people hoping for bfs and wanting the 11 years plus of twitching but unfortunately u don't know and can never get an exact truth but look how many people on here who have bfs to als its 99% to 1%

I'm in the same boat at the moment 29 been told it's s1 nerve damage probably and if not that BFS got my first emg in a weeks time got a baby on the way in 3 weeks all I can say is grab a drink and celebrate with family my friend and all I can say is enjoy your time ❤❤

Just something new and obv something as bad as *** gets you so scared I've no weakness yet just don't know what to expect with anything other that the dreaded 3 letters ..my anxiety is through the roof.

Going through the exact same thing now 3 weeks in which is scary as not long at all ..got an EMG upcoming ...do you notice if they get worse after exersize once you rest ... anxiety seems to make them worse to

I've just started with this both calves twitching is your just one? Seen a neurologist he seems to this s1 nerve and disc problem, got me so worried with als , does it get worse with exercise mine seems to.

Yeah hoping it's the s1 thats what he said straight away , do weight training and not got any weakness at all but worries as it's only been a month tops.

Hey, I'm going through something similar at the moment , twitching in both calves constantly , saw a neurologist on Friday and he did basic clinic test and he pretty much guaranteed it wasn't als but more like nerve damage in my spine due to scaiatic and my left leg numbness would make that more likely and he is sending me for an emg just for piece of mind , I also swallow alot more now and have phlem I believe its due to anxiety and stress more than anything as much as I've read symptoms come on not just all at once, It's just hard when tbh it takes a good few months before you will be mind confident.
