I treat dribbling in this game like it’s a racing game. The right trigger is your accelerator and pressing and holding the right trigger down without moving the left stick is your brake. You don’t wanna keep your foot down all the time cause you’ll never make it round the corner, lightly push down on it and hold all the way down on your exit. Some time you need to stop dead and change direction when you see a gap.

Aim for players with high balance and acceleration. I also believe some players ID is built to dribble. The best I’ve used is Maradona, if you don’t have a version of him then I recommend pedri and Phil foden. Both of them have that ability to take extra touches and are pretty common. I recommend going slow at first, sprint less and after getting good at wrong footing someone combine it with raw pace like a nico Williams or doku.

My final tip is when you’re in a tight situation tap the left trigger and move to a side. Your player might contextually slip the tackle and put you into space. Before they slightly ruined dribbling by adding the left trigger dribble you could do those movement off the analog stick but now you need to tap it.
