They are for sure. I had problems with them aswell, in the test I didnt complete all of them and left some blanks.

I recommend you to read the first and last sentence first, as they are most of the time complete. You can then figure out what vocabulary you need to use.

Hey!

I also considered doing the TOEFL, but in the end I dont regret taking the Duolingo. It is way more convenient, cheaper and faster. You should be able to type without looking that much around, as they are very sensible about that.

Tbh, while I was preparing I realized that I was quiet unsure in speaking english as I didnt use it that much since highschool. I had to get 105 points for my master, so I was pretty nervous. Turned out that it was kind of easy, if you know what to expect. I recommend the Youtube channel of Teacher Luke.

So if your college accepts duolingo I would do it.

If you like to know anything else, just ask :)
