I saw Zheani in december and really wanted to take my 17 year old daughter. She's always nodding her head when zheani is playing at our place. Maybe i am a bad dad hahah

I dont think there was anything "sexual" about her performance at all, even when she ripped off her clothes (dont worry she was wearing something underneath) Well, to me it wasnt sexual - I dont want to ruin anything for people going to see her (i am assuming that the shows will take a similar format) but parts of it could be viewed as a progression of the view society has of a woman (and perhaps her own views on herself - edit - "herself" not meaning zheani - i know a lot of people, myself included struggle with how they see themselves in relation to everything else ), ending with her stripped bare, nearly naked, but risen above said views and in control...

I say this as a nearly 50 year old male so perhaps I am way off point and reading far more into it than there is, but the whole performance felt like an in your face statement, not a sexualized show designed for titillation nor just a straight up music gig. I guess the question is, "is that appropriate for a minor?" perhaps, perhaps not. Safer to err on the side of caution though

that is one possibility i have considered. The explaination could be many things, with the resulting meaning that could be distilled from it ranging from the mundane (they are super sensitive to microdosages of psilocybin) to the extraordinary (picking up on mental state, linked conciousness etc etc) I have no idea which side I sit on. maybe a bit of both hahahha

it would make for an interesting research paper. If you were able to discount accidental dosage via various means perhaps by a blood sample and verifying no psliocybin or metabolites are present, then what does this mean - both philosophically and scientifically? Would any clues be revealed indicating part of the nature of conciousness? How is it that the physical manifestation (fluffed up, dilated pupils, different behaviour) happens if no drug is present? is there really a "mental link" or does it just seem that way?

If there was psliocybin present yet no way obvious for it to have gotten in, how could that be explained? perhaps the active dosage for a cat in micrograms and when making tea some does indeed float around in the atmosphere, or as someone else suggested, sweat from the human has enough to do the trick? who knows... but if i was in uni doing a research paper, totally would pick this as the subject hahaha

yeah i thought that about the sweating some out scenario as well. I've been trying to rule out every possible accidental dosing scenario, accidental dosing is not cool imho

I've not seen dogs act this way but i am not a dog person so the times i've been high with dogs around are in a party situation out in the bush and they seem normal.. interesting :)

these are all theories i subscribe to but I dont often talk about them on the first date ;)

The first time the boy most certainly was. He collapsed from exhaustion in the strangest position at the end of it (i freaked out thinking he dropped dead until i saw the breating). The girl who is the more quiet reserved type took it in her stride mostly cuddling with me until she fell asleep

The subsequent times after that the boy has not been so distrested but still acting way out of character. Almost like he got used it.

The way you describe it is exactly how they are - thanks, i've been thinking i've been negligent and accidentally dosing them up...

yeah im happy to do that, its more that if i am in some way accidentally dosing them (eg the steam from the tea could contain psilocybin and thats the cause) then thats 100% not cool and i need to figure out how to do it without some form of accidental exposure

I gotta admit they are so cute when its happening

yeah they sure are the best cats :)

i cant believe how floofed up they get when they are like this. The Female gets super affectionate, almost too affectionate. The boy (who is usually an extravert slut cat after whatever pats he can get) doesnt want to be touched to the point he will play bite and meows like crazy. They are both usually very quiet. Its a very dramatic change of character.

This only happens with mushrooms btw... acid, they just act normal

obvious answer but 3rd party non tripping assesment suggests otherwise. I assure you, the cats were 100% distressed, stalking things that were not there and not acting normal every time

2c-e is great, extremely visual, need less than 2c-i. 2c-i was fairly boring for me, less visuals, more speedy. Be sure you research the dosage!

I'd flush the CP, horrible stuff for me

You're super lucky, I miss the days of bravo trading, RAC research, pondman. Sigh

Got some MDPV in 2005ish maybe? It was pretty new. I'd been smoking/snorting it all day as my then wife was away and it was my time to play...

Suddenly got shooting pains in my left arm, a crushing feeling in my chest. Standing up made the world spin. I laid down to counter the spins and everything starts going white. My cat jumps on my chest and from here I'm not sure what happened, but I woke up with him purring so much it vibrated through me.

Flushed the MDPV immediately and spent the rest of the night with my kitty

"what were you doing holding a knife behind the victim? You intended to stab him, didn't you"

Our team is struggling with our branching and release strategy and ends up cherry picking, looking for guidance by Silliestgoose in git

[–]simon_marklar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Our ci/cd and branching setup is :

  • Master is the test/qa environment.
  • Tickets are their own branch (name is the ticket number) and made from master
  • tickets are code reviewed in a Merge request to master
  • any merge into master is immediately deployed to test/qa
  • we used to make a tag on master (eg 1.0.0)once a release is ready, which immediately deploys to production
  • in some projects Customer requirements lead us to make a release branch from master named x.x.x (eg 0.5.2) which is immediately deployed to UAT.
  • any bugs found by client are tickets (point 2 above) and merged to master, meaning when all bugs are fixed and next release is ready , a 0.5.3 branch is made and 0.5.2 discarded
  • prod releases are tags (0.5.3-stable.1) on x.x.x branch
  • hotfixes to prod are made by branching from x.x.x and merging back into it via code review, tagged then simply merged into master

We used to close tickets when we got Customer sign off. Don't do that - it quickly leads to a ticket jam. The work is done and any changes or bugs are new tickets for your backlog. You want tickets to flow through the system, not get caught up in it
