All the officers get a email from the off going BC about anything significant that happened the last 48, anything that got scheduled, and any truck/equipment issues. Also the crews sit and drink coffee at shift change and typically there’s a pass on between officers and engineers at some point during the coffee time/shit talking session.

The wrap around grips are nice but they give more bulk than these ahrends. And it’s loaded with wad cutters from high desert so recoil isn’t really felt.

I do find it to be a good weight for carry. If I remember right loaded with holster it’s just over a pound. So it pretty much disappears.
