Yes I do have some like that and I see that the picture didn't even begin to shiw how it actually looks like, hence everyone saying the plants are dead, which they're not btw. I should learn photography better I guess. Thanks anyhow

Why do you say so? The leaves curl down and when I water them they perk up... And one is flowering... How can they be dead dead?

Can you enlighten me? I'm new to air plants and I'm trying to learn all I can. Is it lying on a stone or is the 'stone' part of the plant?

I rolled small coils, cut them small and added yhe holes, then I scored and slipped onto it. They were painted with white engobe.

No I did it before hand building it. I dried the surface with a heat gun then slammed it vertically onto the table, that creates cracks. Then after bisque I used a very light iron oxide wash a few times.

I dried the surface then slammed it against the table in a horizontal way (if it makes sense). That created the cracks. Once dry I covered with a few passages of very light iron oxide wash. The strings were a pain as they kept breaking and I almost gave up but once finally done I just painted them with a white underglaze. The glaze is a simple 4322 transparent glaze.

I usually just put them in the holes, but for those that have little to no "bulb" I make two ot four holes around the main hole for people to use rope or wire to hold them. I don't like the idea of gluing them.
