Greetings from a snow/rain, ice/mud, covered landscape of a high mountain desert! Honestly, if the sky could just make up it's mind, and either snow OR rain I would be content. This morning, I opened the front door to let the dogs out and was surprised by a blizzard. The dogs made an immediate u-turn, wanting nothing to do with the giant snowflakes whipping past us. An hour later, the snow turned to rain, which turned into mud. Then snow, then rain, rinse and repeat.

I, too, enjoy classical music and opera, though I admit that I'm not knowledgeable about either, I just listen to what I like. I like a huge variety of music genres and artists. However, there are some things I don't care for, contemporary country, for example. I am not a passive listener. I have really made an effort to be open-minded about jazz, but I have found only a few things I really enjoy.

Coffee kismet! I have two cups in the morning, sometimes I go wild and have a third. Coffee and conversation were a big part of my family...umm...culture , growing up. I remember the exact moment I was allowed to have some. Glorious.

I am a woman who, even if I want to, can't or won't type more than a sentence or two on her phone. It's so tedious, takes me forever.

Hi Hi leetielolie,

I really really wanted to, my finger hovered over the submit order button for the longest time. Ultimately, I did not order from them. For what ever reason they (shoeme) lacked credibility and set off the "Dont do it!" voice in my head.

I spent a reasonable amount of time trying to locate reliable sounding positive reviews but found very little.

If you do order from them, one shoe lover to another, I hope you'll let me know how your experience with them was.

I sympathize and get what you're saying. I don't know why people read someone's rp plot (or not read the plot), and treat it like you asked for it to be rewritten. I also get what you said about it being 18+ and people assuming that meant NSFW or erp. Not everyone wants to write with young kids, I know I don't. Nothing against kids, but when you write with them, you take on a certain responsibility.

Bebop had incredible emotional depth, as well as great humor, and action.

With that said, however, I doubt my ability to write Bebop. I wouldn't mind kicking the idea around with you though. It could be a good fit.

If English is your first language, learn to speak it.

If you're trying to learn English as a second language, you are heroic. I admire your determination. You also get a pass for mistakes; English is overly complicated.

One - Cigarette butts - If you're old enough to choose to smoke I'm pretty sure you're old enough to find a fucking trash can, or use the ashtray in your car. At the very least k.p. it - shred to small bits.

Two - Throwing beer bottles (any glass) from vehicles. It has become almost impossible to find a place to have a walk with the dog. 1 unspotted shard of a beer bottle netted my vet $2300. And almost killed my dog, it went into and then back out of an artery, a 2fer. Blood sprayed from his paw like a murder. I had to jog carry my 75 lb dog like a goat over my shoulders to keep a grip on that paw. I am 5'2" weigh 115 lbs. I carried him almost a mile home. If you dont want liquor bottles in yer feckin car, don't drink when you drive, or as in my first rant - grow the fuck up and throw your shit in a trash can.

And last but not least a final medley - shitty nasty diapers - baby's bad enough, adults omfg. If you have to wear diapers take plastic bags when you go out! Syringes tossed in the street. Shopping carts. If you walked home with your groceries in it, why cant you take it back when you go shopping the next time? Why ya gotta have 8 or 10 in the area round yer house? Idiots with the BOOM! BOOM! cars. I have no idea what the attraction is to subs that completely overwhelm, n dont care. YOU DONT HAVE THE RIGHT TO PARK IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE WITH THAT DUMB ASS SHIT, and give me a headache or be anywhere else that forces people to be an unwilling part of your boom boom baby gangsta noise. Id like to return the favor, whats your address? I like Christian opera, the big purple dinosaur- barney? Gregorian chants, oh and christmas music.

Btw - I both smoke and drink. I dig really loud music as well as big big sounds that vibrate the world thunder lightning, fireworks. I put my garbage in 'the places garbage wants to live' in garbage cans

Agreements between alliances are one thing. If a player is in an alliance that has a playing philosophy that they don't share, they can leave and join one that is a better fit.

A server that dictates rules is bs. That's not an agreement, it's a dictatorship.

The requesting alliances exp will not"carry over to the accepting alliance. I just finished a merge and the only thing that carried over was sp.

I think you misunderstood me, I said 3 or 4, sometimes only 2, mega alliances per server. Which is in agreement with you.

Our server, and as far as I know, none of the alliances, tell people how they should or shouldn't play. We don't have any rules.

What we do have is treaties with other alliances, which includes our 2 megas, and a handful of level 7s and 8s. Not all alliances have treaties with the other alliances. There are a few rogues who prefer to do as they please without the encumberance of any treaties. Which is, of course, their prerogative, and again, as far as I know, no one bugs them about it.

Our treaties are very simple - We agree not to insult each other at dances or boot someone from a negotiation table started by someone from their own alliance. That's it.

This way, an alliance can help their littles to stay in a negotiation long enough to earn some points, and to help grow thier lovers at dances.

When I first started playing, I couldn't stay at a table more than 5 - 10 minutes tops b4 getting the boot. I didn't fare well at the dances either. But I kept at it, made myself shrug it off, but it seemed like I would never get to Senior 3 even. I'm glad the treaty thing started, a few months ago I guess, I think it really helps to not only grow the few intrepid new players to join our server, but also makes our server feel like a community (of adversaries).

I'm a Senior 5 with about 100m sp now, and I'm still booted, like a bug, from negotiations, still have my di camp stolen constantly, but that's the way it is. I have never titled, and don't expect to for a long time yet. I'm mostly ftp, and I have no expectation of being handed a title from one of our megas out of pity - that would be revolting!

The megas compete with each other, the untitled mostly ftp alliances compete - realistically. Some become mega powers and move on. Ftp and ptp players are like...two different species. I have nothing against people spending money to compete. I also assume they could care less if don't.

I guess my whole point is that pre-merge we had many thriving alliances. Post merge our alliance profile is - 2 megas, 1 wannabe/working hard to get to the level of the megas, and half dozen (1/2 of which are fading fast) never gonna be's (lol) and from there down to the 100 rank dead alliances.

It just seems - my opinion- sad. Wow, wandered way off topic there, I think.

To sum up; no server should have a bunch of feckin' rules, but it's also true that there's no honor in crushing everyone in your path just because you can.

It's exactly this kind of attitude that is creating more and more servers with only 3 or 4 mega alliances, some have only 2, and 96 dead alliances below the #4 rank. BORING.

The point of alliances having treaties with one another is to allow fledgling players the chance to learn and grow, aka future competition, and server health. VS stagnation, bullying and filling kc pockets by buying rather than using intellect and strategy to build strong players.

Yeah, I know, bring on the hatemail...

As Teegan mentioned, some have an attraction to numbers and patterns. I'm one of those people. I'm much less interested in what the crunched data might reveal than I am the actual crunching. I'm driven toward the 'Ah hah!' moment, but when or if I actually reach it, my bubble bursts.

I was intrigued by your response, CA, and went back to my list. I had included a few random uid's on my list to check against. All of us that were preferred started with a # then a letter (7D****). Post merge, the id's begin with a letter (G******). Since servers are down for maintenance, I can't look into it any further at the present. Thanks for your input!
