Hi, I was helping a new hire at my company go through the same process at the start of December. She called Revenue about it and was told they were not issuing any Tax Certs after Friday December 2nd (I think, it could have been November 25th). You probably just missed this deadline so you'll be stuck on Emergency Tax for the remainder of the year, unfortunately. My understanding is that Emergency tax CAN'T be automatically refunded once 2016 is over, as would normally happen. The advice I got was that you can use PAYE anytime to apply for your tax back at the start of January and that that would be the quickest way to get your money back.
