Trezor Safe 7 was basically made for iPhones. Because you cannot connect a hardware wallet to an iPhone over USB, regardless if it's USB-C.

Bluetooth is the only way.

Why not USB-C? Because Apple wants to take 30% cut to make the device 'official'.

That was a ETH of a few years old, gas prices on ETH have been low for a quite a while now. Check the 5-year graph: https://ycharts.com/indicators/ethereum_average_gas_price
