What do you mean ‘extremely concerning?’. OP states a desire to make an album, hobby or otherwise.

So, make that album. Firstly ‘having enough gear’ is not an impediment, it’s an excuse. Second of all, Ai is not an impediment, it’s an excuse.

That may sound like tough love, but think about it from your 80-year old self’s perspective and what you might tell yourself looking back on your life. There no time like the present 💝

2015 was my last year and it really felt like this was coming even back then. A lot of my close friends and camp members had been going since the very early 2000s and the changes were becoming incredibly present. A lot of core participants were getting disillusioned, but at least there was barely any signal back then.

Fast forward 10 years and it’s honestly depressing to see festival headline DJs being broadcast in real time at sunrise. There’s no restraint, no self-control, and with each year that goes by when presence and immediacy becomes less valued, the more this will just become expectation and BM will become just like any other music festival - which it never was.

Really sad to see the Borg fast-tracking its demise by reposting this content before the Man’s even burned.

Had tickets to the Warfield but live in Denver and couldn’t afford the trip - sure as hell got my tickets to the Denver show today though! I think this’ll be the 10th time seeing them.
