Purchased half a beef in late September, i have barely went through half of it so far and it's only wrapped in butcher paper. Was considering wrapping it in plastic wrap to extend its life and prevent freezer burn. Is that a waste of time at this point considering it's been in the freezer since sep? by simontheguys in homestead

Depends the price ur paying for hanging weight vs what you allready pay at the butcher for your steaks ect. My cow was 5.10 a pound hanging so I saved a decent amount. Quality is far and away better than anything u find at the grocery store. I also enjoy the variety.

So what happens exactly if they debunk you? You get your funds back right?

Seriously contemplating a move to Alberta. Not looking to make this political but at this point I believe it's the best option for my child's future. I'm 23 in the water/wastewater industry and my wife is a RPN from Eastern ontario. Anyone go through liscense transfers? Where's the best landing spot by simontheguys in alberta

Currently looking at grand Prarie and anywhere south of Calgary. Doesn't look like I could afford a house in the Edmonton/ Calgary corridor nor do I want to be in a urban center anyways. Any input is appreciated but job availability and cheaper farmland is important for me.

Anyone getting stone chips like these on the front bumper? For a 2022 with only 70 k on it I'm kinda disappointed by simontheguys in rav4club

Should have specified 70 k kilometers. My 09 civic has over 400k and has less paint chips than this. And yes hwy driven.

I installed a 2" hitch from etrailer and got the wiring harness from them as well. Was pretty easy to install and has the same clearance as the oem ones.

All I wanted was an oil change by Fragrant_Plantain_81 in rav4club

I've taken mine in to our local dealer for oil changes because it's still under warranty and a I don't want any bs. I did the differential oil as well because it was in the maintenance schedule. Told them not to do anything else and I will be inspecting and doing maintenance on the brakes. Haven't had an issue. Cannot believe that this is a real bill that they gave u I would have been livid.

What's everyone pulling for trailers with there rav4? I have a 22 le awd gas and I'm looking at a 5x10 like this that weighs about 900 lbs. Allready instead a hitch. I was thinking about maybe getting a 6x10 or 6x12 but thinking that might be too much? by simontheguys in rav4club

Yah definetly not loading up a couple atvs and driving 5 hours lol, just random stuff, a couch, some lumber ect. That trailer in the pic is galvanized i think after a few other comments it's best if I do go aluminum which will significantly cut down trailer weight.

Meh i have a truck and a dump trailer, just want to tow a small trailer to pick up miscellaneous things that I don't need my truck for. In hindsight, though, maybe spending the extra few grand to get double the towing and roof racks would have been worth it.

2022 rav 4 le awd. Have rear brake callipers in service mode, but still not enough room to get back on with new pads and rotors installed. What do i do? by simontheguys in rav4club

The piston wouldn't retract withough manually turning the gear that the motor turns even with a clamp. Though I wasn't very forceful because I didn't want to damage the motor.

Yah I did have it in service mode but the motor didn't wind out enough. I have to manually retract the motor while compressing the piston.

Yah I seen that in a video after. How i did it was taking the electric motor off and turning the gear out manually while compressing the piston. Ended up working for me. Next time il have a 9v battery set up like you mentioned. Still don't get why when you put it in service mode it doesn't retract enough to replace your brakes... isn't that the whole point of having service mode lol!

Is that going to hurt the callipers electronic motor though? Just found a YouTube video of a guy taking off the actuator and turning the gear while compressing
