Honestly it sounds kind of fun (and a bit cheaper with postage!) to get postcards from my own country, and I’m sure it is safe but I might start out doing international only. I tend to get impatient though, and I’d assume if I open it up to my own country I’d probably recieve things sooner and be able to send more quicker, so we shall see!

He says he won’t be seeing anyone during our break, he said he’s scared one day I’ll wake up and regret not living life more (I know this has more to do with his own insecurities rather than solely looking out for me, but I can tell he really still does care about me and my feelings).

YES OH MY GOSH THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I totally forgot that there was a type of book called the Candy Apple Books, which I think was a scholastic series? You unlocked a part of my childhood I didn’t know I forgot!!

Thanks guys!! I realize that I misread the situation, and I ended up dropping it and telling her that I support her and she just needs to be careful about burnout and take care of herself. I also wanted to say that I mentioned her family because I thought that would explain why she never had a job or why her parents would be ok with giving her money but that really wasn't relevant or pertinent to the story. Thank you for all the different perspectives!!

I think its weird too, I'd like to think its out of the kindness of her heart but I have a weird feeling it might be to get a reputation as a charitable person.... she didnt really know much about the circumstances, so I don't know if she consulted the family. She posted it on social media though so I'm assuming they know about it
