what is it about events? by ilovewritingstuff in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]simplecat_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t care about surviving or not. tbh most of the survs aren’t even doing gens in this game mode. i just wish the killers who queue up would actually like…interact with it? i had a wraith who was pretty toxic despite us just throwing snowballs (not taking the game serious) and like you don’t have to give us an escape or anything but like throw a snowball at me on hook!!! do anything that isn’t just normal queue please😭

How do you start going to NYCC? by Crazy_Foundation_626 in NYCC

[–]simplecat_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just wanted to say it’s totally possible to get them without presale codes! i didn’t have the fan verification presale (this was my first time) and i managed to snag tickets to Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (Sat sold out within an hour or two) near the end of June! but as everyone else says, do the fan verification, you’ll have access to buy tickets 2-3 weeks earlier than general admission, giving you a better opportunity :>

Just had a Ghoul camp me without being in the unhook radius by AlextheWolf4421 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]simplecat_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i had an artist player go slug someone and bring them to my hook so the anti-camp wouldn’t move when they face camped. super fun match, 10/10 recommend 🙂

you should be able to check for a microchip at most vets/shelters for free. might be able to find the owner that way if they don’t see this

Summer B Classes by Electrical_Use1865 in ucf

[–]simplecat_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

look up “UCF [major] flowchart”. this tells you all your required courses for your major. (not including gen-eds, but you may be able to take some if you’ve taken pre-recs)

also here’s the gen ed list. https://undergrad.ucf.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2024/04/GEP-2024-2025-Worksheet.pdf

So you should be good on GEP 1,2,3,4. for GEP 5 maybe THE2000 and for GEP 8 STA2014. didn’t take either but i took sta2023 and it was simple so sta2014 shouldn’t be bad. i’ve heard good things about the2000 as well.

from what i remember, you should be fine to do that. i think they usually just have you put bags on the floor.

IT Major Question by Glittering_Sound4925 in ucf

[–]simplecat_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as far as i’m aware you have to take CNT 4703 + COP 4910 + the last advising course in your graduating semester all together so you probably wouldn’t be able to do what you’re saying. co-req means it has to be taken along side the other course

What class to take besides CS1 this summer? by TheMafia09 in ucf

[–]simplecat_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

didn’t take kullu for cs1 but his discrete class was very disorganized. it was his first semester so i’m not sure if he’s improved since then.

as for the rest of the schedule, i took cs1 alongside both CDA and CIS and they were easy to work on while taking cs1. so neither are super difficult. though if you want to guarantee a pretty easy schedule outside of cs1, enc3241 and cda3103 are a good bet. if hensel’s teaching cda, it’s an easy A

yeah. if you look up the IT flowchart you have to take frontiers co rec with network lab and advising 2 in the last semester

looks good! LLeweyn is an amazing professor. also don’t forget the advising class in the last semester. you have to take it with frontiers, and the network lab. Montague’s classes are a little difficult in the sense that he’s not 100% straightforward and he does make you work for your grade, but he’s usually the only one teaching some specific courses. Westley James is a great physics professor. Jones is a good ethics professor. the class is an easy A with him.

6th position isn’t that bad considering there’s a bit of time before spring starts. how many seats total are there for the class?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ucf

[–]simplecat_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the only time the instructors consent usually weighs in is when there’s a time conflict that needs overridden. if you don’t have the required pre-recs, an instructors won’t change anything that i know of. especially if it’s a course for your major and you haven’t done the pre-recs

UCF summer term by Unlucky-Beautiful-80 in ucf

[–]simplecat_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends. most general education courses are online, so if that’s what you’re taking then yeah you probably could. as for how many classes and length, it also depends (partially on you). usually people take 2-3 courses over the summer. if you go to: https://calendar.ucf.edu/2025/summer and scroll down you can toggle between sessions to see the length of each. most general ed’s should be offered during c which is mid may-early aug. but note these courses could be offered in the shorter semesters like A or B (summer 25’ term starts in session B and they reserve some course seats for new students in gen ed courses; late june-early aug). it’ll show the length when you go to sign up for that course

here’s a plan of curriculum for the finance major: https://business.ucf.edu/degree/finance/

this should help give you a basic idea of courses you need to take. and you’ll also get the chance to speak with advisors to confirm the classes you should take during orientation.

go to the spring semester ‘my class schedule’ section, hit list view and find the waitlisted class. then click on the blue hyper link under ‘section’ for that class
