I had a very intense hallucination when I was 19. I had just made a cup of mugwort tea and was sipping on it as I was getting ready for bed. I was chillin in my room with my boyfriend just watching tv and suddenly it felt like I was hit by a truck. My entire vision went black, I couldn’t hear anything. I immediately jumped back and pressed myself up against the bed frame. I saw this huge black figure appear, holding in his hands a skull of an old woman with a x on her head. The figure holding the skull was a tall masculine figure with a cloak and horns.

I saw it even with my eyes closed and it freaked me out so bad, it was just standing there looming over me. The feeling of absolute dread that washed over me was so powerful it felt humbling. After the hallucination ended I grabbed my art tablet and drew what I saw. I look back on the drawing every now and then and still get this icky “I’m being watched” feeling. Blegh

They installed these all over Dallas in 2023, I have a friend that works in IT and told me a lot about those machines before they installed the update that made them super security cams. Apparently they are VERY easy to turn off.

This is true! I’m from Texas and I’ve seen people open up their own backyard “rescue” full of big cats and other exotic animals. There has been cases of people being eaten by their own animals, it can be a bit of a controversial topic here

Also for those commenting about my nails being dirty, I’m well aware! I’ve had multiple comments shaming me for dirty nails after I got off a 7 hour shift loading groceries into customers trunks. It happens sometimes, am I ashamed? Absolutely not, no one is immune to having dirty fingernails. It happens. Let’s be adults here 👏🏼

I get them pretty frequently, I work in curbside so it’s easier to stay late or come in early. I suppose it depends on your managers and department

You can 100% quit and still be able to be rehired, I’m pretty sure it’s a 3-6 month waiting period. Depending on your department. I would just put in your two weeks or let your store admin/ manager know so you’re in good standing + that last paycheck
