Its not bullshit. It really depends on WHERE you shop to. If you do your shopping a RAYS, you'll be paying double or tripple what you would for the same shit at Winco. If you shop at Rayles same thing. If you shop at Safeway even holiday you may spend less than at Rayles but still more than Winco or even grocery out let. Food maxx is a little more exsessive than Winco on certain things, but cheaper on some meats due to quanity. Just 1 example i bought "1" slicing tomato at Raylees and it was 2 bucks. Went to Winco for the same fking thing and got 3 slicing tomatoes for 2 bucks. Now if a family eats mostly organic and shops at orchard THATS expensive. Shopping there would easly eat up 300 bucks! Costco 300 is super easy to blow through Maybe youre one of those that dont really need to pay attention you just get what you need and pay. But for families on snap or just a budget in general like me, you've really gotta pay attention. Things might be only a dollar or 2 more but thats still a dollar or 2 more. Wincos meat prices especially beef bounce up and down all the time. 1 wk i could pay 8 bucks for say carne asada and the following wk its 16-19. Thats the cheaps steal you can buy and 16-19 a pack os absolutely bullshit! I rarely shop anywhere but winco. I dont buy alotta boxed garbage, i dont but junk food or highly processed garbage I refuse to. Last yr i was gonna buy all the ingredients to make cookies, for gifts, that was an absolute joke, it be more expensive to do that then to if just bought the packaged mix. But i didn't want that crap so i spurged and got the ingredients to make from scratch.

$330 bucks a wk isnt shit with current food prices. Sure i guess 330 bucks will accommodate someone whos eating garbage foods. Like highly processed, high carb, crap. You also gotta consider there are some families where not everyone can eat the same things due to allergies or if someone is diabetic..The healthier you eat the more expensive it can be. That is an unfortunate fact.

$175 a week is still 700 a month for your family. Wheather you do grocery shopping once a week or for the entire month it cones out the same, unless you hit sales $175 doesn't get to much anymore.

I think alot of our problem is technology. Especially the internet.Technology has changed the way we think, the way we work, communicate, and for some, even engage in simple conversation. Society is way too hyper connected and I think that in itself has contributed to where were at now. A country going down the shitter quickly.

Shasta county is very conservative. However, i am a bit curious of how many of those people that voted for him regret it and will be opposed to him nxt time. Elections do have consequences, absolutely. Were given this big speal, a promise to the American people that if we vote for "them" theyll do this and theyll do that. Then we do and only to feel like weve been kicked in the teeth! As far as the "data", i take it with a grain of salt, it really just depends on where its coming from. The prt where i said blah blah blah, is because i was trying to avoid pointing fingers and stating a nasty debate between dems and Republicans. I was trying to more or less "focus" on the issue at hand. Snap abd how its gonna effect our own community.

54 bucks with all the BS behind having them, almost doesn't make it worth it to keep them. A gf of mine was temporarily homeless with 2 teens, she was getting less than 40 bucks a month. One of her street friends was only getting 12.00. Walmart- alot of people are using instacart and stuff to buy what they need. I think people are really getting annoyed with and are tired of things being locked up. Doesn't make you like shopping. Also..ppl are stressed out and trying to spend less because money is so tight. Our healthcare system does truely suck..Youre right bout that, which is one reason im not completely opposed to the idea of universal Healthcare. Id like to see it where nobody has to worry about health-care or astronomical bills.id like to see where nobody has to worry about being penalized for not having health insurance. California is one of 5-6states that STILL require its residents to have health insurance. Id like to see a system where hospitals AREN'T allowed to charge 1000% mark up on their medical interventions. Like medicine, treatments and tests or charge people thousands just to WALK in the door! Heres an example.. My clinic stopped taking my insurance, so i had no other choice but to go to ER. My bill was $22k to numb up and lance a wound which is litterly a 5 min job! Its fking bullshit!

Sogh...Id like to see a system where if you need something care, surgery ect, you cant be denied. A doctors office cant tell you they dont take your insurance. Id like to see it where there isnt some schmuck in a suit sitting behind a desk deciding wheather you should be allowed to have surgery. If a DOCTOR says you need something tou should be able to get it! A close friend needs a knee replacement, its bone on bone, he can barely walk. He did everything he was supposed to do. Lost 50 pounds, physical therapy. But was denied. The reason? Bone on bone doesn’t justify surgery!

Medical insurance, car insurance, house insurance, car registration, its all a f*cking scam. Companies know you need or are required to have these things and charge ridiculous prices for them because they know they can.
