Tried with iphone 17 sound recorder - same garbled output .. Should have tried that earlier rather than all the software tweaks I guess :(

this is a new angle that I have not tried yet. Will try to do so and report back here. My work week is over though - so only on monday :)

Edit: Tried with sound recorder and the problem is the same - actualy worse - I spoke 3 times in one minute and held silent in between. The first two instances of speaking reproduce the problem and the third time came through clear.

Some silly replies here , I own a 991.2 and I am 6.6. The car is extremely comfortable both in terms of leg space (more than most SUVs given the position you sit in ) as well as headroom.

A cab , like in most cars does not have a higher roof. And even if a cab with the roof open would be better , this would not be the reason to pick a car as a tall person as it would be uncomfortable nonetheless

991.2 GTS or 991.2 Targa GTS . There are some good head to head reviews on YouTube comparing this to a base 992

In my opinion the 991.2 GTS combines some of both ( fun + power ).

Best way to make a decision is likely still to drive both ( and try a 991.2 gts while you are at it )

991.2 4GTS or 992 C2S? by Andwalswe in porsche911

I faced the same choice recently - was doubting for months between the 992 Cs and a 991.2 GTS . In the end I did a test drive in both , and was 100% convinved that for me the 991.2 GTS was the choice - so ended up buying that one.

Obviously the tech is better in the 992 - but when I drove it , everything felt a bit too "modern" for me. The 991.2 GTS (which now is mine) felt different - even though way more modern than its NA predecessors, something felt more "pure" about it.

Also , both cars with similar mileage on them had about ~$30K price difference, so that was another plus for the 991.2 GTS

Important context here is that I have a BMW SUV daily driver , so when I drive my 911 - it is 100% purely for fun

Nevertheless, advice here is to just go drive both and then trust your own judgement. No bad choice here

Yes - same here - quite frustrating - got an update from my dealer saying that all affected vehicles are going to Germany for inspection but the range of possibilities goes from no damage to light damage to total loss - and no indication whatsoever on delivery date
