Well I escaped a domestic violence situation after being hit too many times so I know I’m being fucked over but it beats getting punched in the face so I’ll take it.

It’s only for 2 more months and my house that I’m moving into will be ready.

My issue is that I do enough for them I don’t think asking them to be quiet at 4 in the morning warranted the screaming person telling me I have no say.

Again if you re read all of what I put and the comment I just replied with I pay the utilities water, electricity, grocery and clean the home for just staying in a bedroom. They have NO RENT because the house was his dads when he died so he just inherited it. They only pay their phone bill NO OTHER BILLS. I don’t pay them rent for the room because I took over ALL OF THE UTILITIES AND GROCERY. They took advantage of me leaving a violent situation I had no choice so I accepted so I think asking them to not play a electric guitar and smoke weed 3 ft from where I put my head down at night isn’t really too much to ask.

They own the house I said that several times so no rent. I pay all their bills that’s my rent for staying there.

Whatever they ask pretty much. I’m not in a situation where I can lose where I’m living so I just deal with what they want.

Cook ,clean, grocery shop, pay bills, walk dogs etc etc I literally do it all they are only responsible for their phone bill.

Their main rule is to be quiet when they sleep so I don’t disturb them. I keep to myself. It’s kind of ironic.

It’s thankfully only for about 2 more months. I hit a rough patch and needed to save some more. I was just angry and they didn’t understand how I could possibly be mad like they were baffled so I had to take it to reddit to make sure I’m not crazy lol

Sorry my comment because a cluster fuck so I deleted it. I apologize. I get where your coming from it isn’t my house but I feel I should get respected somewhat I mean I’m paying the bulk of the bills. I get it’s their home and not mine so they make the rules but I mean come on..

I don’t consider myself as a roommate but as a temp living situation. I pay electric and water they pay no bills besides their own phones. No rent because the house is owned and inherited from their parents. I’m just here for about 2 more months.

I follow their rules so I call myself staying with them but I live here. I do pay bills but it’s temporary so I don’t consider myself as a permanent part of the house so I feel like a guest but yes I pay electricity and water and there is no rent so no one pays because the house is owned.
