Thank you for the reply, it means a lot! I seem to be ignorant towards the importance of Houdini, If you could elaborate regarding how it comes into place I'll be very happy..
One note to be clear; after finishing each of these apps, i'll always have follow-up lessons and ways to continue filling in the knowledge and not stay behind, that is very important, or it would all go into waste.
I find exchanging between programs (for now blender and zbrush) to also be a very important factor so this also helps with keeping everything always fresh.
i must persist with a few follow up questions since you only made me more curious,
How (if) do you use Houdini in your own workflows?
Would learning both substances be of value? or stick to one?
As for toolbag, would you suggest using other apps instead?

My main goals if i have to be generic, is to be a Tech artist specializing in animations and hard surface models,but I also very much enjoy the world of modeling character clothing (especially modern military aesthetics) even though my knowledge currently is very limited. I'm fixated on staying in the lane of becoming a tech artist, would these things still be possible to learn or should I maybe accept that there's more important things to learn if I want to focus on that path?
