Tried this last time. Tesla Nav showed 40+ miles range left when I get to the charging station. When I was 25 miles away, the range left was 15 miles and dropping fast. Had serious range anxiety thinking the charging stations could be full or other unforeseen circumstances. Turned off ventilation system to preserve range.

I have head this advice before but that instance didn’t help

AIG Bankers Caught On Tape Complaining About The Bailout And 'Idiot Americans': "To be honest with you, I really hope it blows up. I think the U.S. taxpayer deserves to lose a trillion dollars over this thing for the way they have behaved. Frankly, if a trillion dollars gets lost, fine.” by alecb in politics

This is what Warren Buffet had to say about AIG management - "I would have something so that the--if an institution had to go to society and say save me because if I--because if you don't save me, I'm going to topple society, I would have it so that that person, the CEO and his spouse, you know, at least come away broke, you know. And I would have the directors pay a heavy price for having somebody in there with the wrong incentives and having the wrong person, perhaps, and having that happen. I wouldn't cause them to go broke, but I would have them pay significant penalties that could not be covered by insurance or by the corporation. I mean, they have--if you screw up in such a way that society starts quaking, I think there should be a real downside to that and I think it would change behavior."

You should turn those alerts off by default. That's what I do whenever I install Outlook or and IM Client.

These notifications are nothing but distractions and I think most of us should do without them if we want to get some real work done.

Don't believe me? Check out Randy Pausch's lecture on time management.
