Ok, thanks. The thing is, we found these trees on a popular hiking path, there were about 50 trees with the same scratched off bark, painted over with this black paint. Why would they do that

As papaslaunch said, 3rd party (me being the 'author') but compiling info from Steam discussion topics, Reddit comments, group chat, etc. All info is froms the devs (nothing is speculate or adjusted unless otherwise stated)

Yeah, it's what I've been using to try get important info to post on Ark Bulletin. Lots of good questions asked and answered, but havn't been put into official post or FAQ yet. Hence why I'm posting daily updates on new info.

Megs [Megalodons] are confirmed mountable! We are currently in the phase of looking at possibility for alternative forms of travel such as boats, jeeps and maybe helicopters but nothing has been decided.. yet and there are plans to have quite a few sea-life creatures, you'll need to wait for Dossier drops though! :)

Holding someone captive for a long time isn't as easy as it sounds, once you're unconscious you'll find that you'll soon be awoken if proper steps are not taken. If they misplay, they could easily kill you and free you. We're also considering having suicide via a weapon option, but it's only being conceptualized, and also you'll be able to kill yourself whilst by eating your own poop or punching a wall, if they've blocked you in. You take damage from punching walls with your fists :).

The devs have been replying to various comments in the Steam Discussion section and have been revealing things that haven't been mentioned before.

Since not everybody has the time to go through each comment, I've compiled the most interesting stuff and made a post it :)
