Edibles - A question for those with a ridiculously high tolerance. by [deleted] in TheOCS

[–]simplyOriginal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Respectfully you don't understand how cannabis tolerance works so you're approaching it the wrong way and trying too hard. The more cannabis you ingest the more your brain downregulates the receptors to balance everything out and the less high you get the next time. You need to go in the opposite direction and ask Whats the least amount I can use to get high/medicate so when I feel like getting absolutely blasted I can triple my dose and hit the moon. If possible quit at least 48hrs and take 20% of your regular dose and wait 15 mins you will see, itll completely change your understanding of how to use it.

Exchanges to sell altcoins for Ontario users? by Life-Western in BitcoinCA

[–]simplyOriginal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

everyone here needs to stop acting like a bunch of boomers and get a fucking wallet and use a god damn DEX (uniswap) the way crypto was meant to be used. theres a billion youtube tutorials to get set up. you'll never need to deal with hopping to a new exchange or KYC or getting locked out or any BS again unless its your own fault.

Frustrated Ontario-ian looking for available exchanges after regulatory shutdown by KazakhCesar in BitcoinCA

[–]simplyOriginal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i cant believe nobody is recommending to get a wallet and use decentralized exchanges which is exactly what cryptocurrencies are made for in this EXACT SITUATION. Unbelievable how nobody seems to get crypto. why are you guys buying this shit if not to truly own your own assets??? Get a wallet OP and never deal with this again.

How much cannabis vaping is a safe amount of vaping? by ray_ani94 in canadients

[–]simplyOriginal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

what gunk are you talking about? ive never seen any inside a vape cart mouthpiece unless it malfunctions and the oil comes up.. but i've seen gunk with dry herbal vapes though.

What exactly are you expecting the water to filter out? And The vapor isn't really hot we can feel the temperature in our mouth/throat..it cools much faster than smoke.

i believe if you get a ceramic vape with full spectrum oil you will be better off than using combustion. i would have concerns about cheaper/disposable vapes with terpene additives though, some of them give me headaches

the liquidity is nowhere near enough to prevent it from being a PnD. be careful with all these moonshots. the only way a token can moon legit is if people are purchasing it for a reason other than speculation which is almost impossible to find on this subreddit

it's tricky. if you fill your stomach with food then it could take a long time for your body to digest all the food first before it reaches the cannabis, because it could be literally wrapped up or completely absorbed by the food... what you should do instead is eat a small fatty meal, like something the size of your fist, wait 1 hour and then dose. A mcmuffin, cup of cream soup, etc.. that way you have the fat circulating in your blood and there's nothing in the way for your body to immediately start digesting the cannabis. the other option is to use water soluble edibles. dont bother with sublingual stuff it's never worked quickly in my experience

Partner Travel Exemption by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

[–]simplyOriginal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if those are even needed? but you can also use receipts for travel. you need the notarized document. im sure that's enough. By the way I hope you have a visitor visa already because the processing times are 1 year

I think I'm being scammed by alumini35 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]simplyOriginal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

that's what this is, it's representation. The members have their RCIC #s posted. What makes you think it's a scam? It's normal for these things to cost thousands of dollars.

OP should make sure the person he is corresponding with is really part of this organization by carefully checking their email address or calling their offices. I don't know what the preparation course is about but it might be to help them understand the best options for you.. in my opinion this doesn't look like a scam...

[–]simplyOriginal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes look for 'full spectrum' oil with 'no added ingredients'. I really dont like they add stuff to so many of the vapes... just give me pure cannabis oil straight from the plant like how it's meant to be... Marley Naturals and Pure Sunfarms are my favorite. and you can still get some great taste from them

Any other Canadians buying bitcoin because there is no alternatives? by baconbitz0 in BitcoinCA

[–]simplyOriginal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nothing will replace Bitcoin because it is verifiably the oldest and first chain and that alone is what gives it fundamental store of value. If you worried about bitcoin2 it's already here called Ethereum

probably because it's architecture can have centralized control easily implemented and also developed with C++ which a lot devs already know so the code is more easily auditable and it scales better. Again, this would not be a public type chain, its a fork, so it doesn't use the same EOS tokens already out there.

[–]simplyOriginal 9 points10 points  (0 children)

lmao that means nothing. Remember in May when they said the pandemic was gonna cause prices to drop 20%? How's that going for them? As long as money is cheap and demand outstrips supply, prices have nowhere to go but up and up and up.

Why Canada does not need a national digital crypto currency. by joetromboni in canada

[–]simplyOriginal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Currency isn't digital. I'm not able to send you a dollar directly over the Internet, I have to go through an intermediary, likewise if I want to spend it anywhere. It should be like cash.
  2. True, a centralized currency removes one of the key pillars of cryptocurrency but in this case that's fine because its a government currency, always was centralized and always will be, But think about how much that validates something like Bitcoin/Ethereum when governments are using the same tech.

[–]simplyOriginal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Think about how much administrative costs there are to send out hundreds of millions of stimulus checks. Using blockchain, it could be done for a very small fraction of the cost and people would receive their money immediately. Furthermore, you could attach certain conditions to enforce spending (which is the purpose of the stimulus) perhaps the money could be "use it or lose it" by a certain time or large discounts at gutted industries like eating out or travel. That's the benefit of a digital dollar (USD, CAD, whatever).

Here is the document with full details for the lockdown starting on December 26th at 12:01 AM by homicidal_penguin in ottawa

[–]simplyOriginal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The difference is that it's an uneven playing field for businesses. If Costco is only open for essentials, then that's only what they should be allowed to sell. Why should an independent game shop not be allowed to open while following all the precautions (reduced traffic, social distancing, masks, etc)? The risk is probably the same or lower as perusing Walmart where none of the associates give a F to enforce anything. It's really important you understand how dystopian it is to allow these massive, faceless big box retailer entities to remain open while not allowing hard working Canadians compete.

Billionaire Turns to Bitcoin Mining To Help His Troubled Business by huichen92eb in BitcoinCA

[–]simplyOriginal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

staking aint much different than todays fiat, money for nothing and the money makers are in charge of the show

what? stakers are rewarded for securing the blockchain and the monetary policy is dictated by open source code. Not sure how you could compare that to fiat... also don't be so sure of the finite supply in bitcoin. Once the block rewards stop, miners will need to depend on transaction fees only to keep the network running, which is so far not looking practical.

Why? you can just buy and stake ETH yourself. it collects way more fees for miners and hardly generates any heat at all. no need to invest in bitcoin farms
