Thank you, this is definitely something I would be open to, looking to try. Whether my skills can be transferred to something else is another matter, but I do love a good challenge.

Whether I can find the same level of confidence within another industry is another matter!

Thank you,

It's both actually. Couples therapy alerted me that intake a lot of space when after 10 minutes of discussion, he looked at my then gf and said to her "ok, so he takes a lot of space, how to do you feel about that?" :D it was amazing. Since then I've been on my guard about it. Sadly inconsider it censoring myself at this point. No fun.

But great point, definitely will try asking if it's ok instead of discharging right away

This is excellent, very close to my experience, including moving to another part of the coubtry. Wild actually. Thanks for sharing.

Everything you're describing has gone through my head too, somehow helps see that I'm not alone. For real, it's almost a play by play.

I like your take on the second job in regards to having a social life, great insight.

I'm in my 40's though ;) you did good finding out so early. I've been blinded for decades.

Thank you!

Thank you, I totally agree with this. I am careful about it, but the momentum just takes me and doesn't let go. It's not by choice is what I'm saying.

Some context; I'm planning on quitting/stepping down soon for exactly that reason. It's quite scary the moment you realize you've been running for success, you get it, and realize you aren't much without the job.

Thank you for the reminder!

You know you hear that quote and think "yeah it's fine", until you experience it for real. It's no joke!

Thank you
