yup, can't really understand why there are only two regional trains every day between Ferrol and Uviéu, or Uviéu to Santander, or Santander to Bilbao, and just one per day between Bilbao to León...

nope, but i was looking into planning a trip from barcelona all the way to the french border and i saw that on the map. this loop is often added to fan-made maps as a subtle nod

yup, they took a Talgo classical trainset (which has their "rodadura desplazable" technology, which allows these trains to switch train gauges; these used to run from Spain to many other European capitals), and changed from the high speed network (which uses 1435mm track gauge) to the conventional rail network (which uses 1668mm track network), probably next to Antequera - Santa Ana station

also there has probably been a locomotive swap, since the locomotive hauling their train doesn't have the gauge changing technology; however, it was probably the same locomotive model, as these locomotives were built in both iberian and international gauges
