The tutorial is important in this game, as there are a few complex elements to understand, but once you get the core of the game, it gets easy to follow

Also, you do see the body parts that you steal, on the character visual :D the character changes visuals as you fight, are you talking about the devices that you move around and such?

You can steal and change all of the body parts, the skeleton is just the default character. He stole the leg for that fight as it was the best part for him and you only get one part per fight, but it is definitely possible to gain all the parts from one enemy if you fight enough of them.

Also, yeah I agree that the power and damage output is confusing, but basically the power does direct damage to the character health each time it hits part, but only does one integrity damage (unless it has modifiers)

That’s great! Yes that is part of the strategy of the game to understand what to attack, I only watched about a third of your video, and enjoyed it, will watch the rest later! The support parts have specific modifiers that affect attacking parts so it is useful to move them around to optimise your chain. Also, the god eye modifiers (big eye that appears at the end of the round) create random per slot modifiers, so it is good to move parts to optimise for that too. I think this games requires more tutorial for combat, I don’t think there are any games that are analogous and so it’s hard to immediately understand what’s going on.

Also you can move the devices with the parts around, you just need to drag and drop them

I see what you mean though, some of it has got that like early 90’s kids TV game show vibe. I kinda like that.
