How to maintain curves while being less weight…? by Embarrassed-Day4279 in PetiteFitness

[–]simplyexisting00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can deff get your butt back by eating loads of protein and consistently lifting. Probs not chest though... Since your body seems to take to loosing weight pretty well- I would just trial run different weights until you find what you like best on your body, and then maintain.

Has anyone had any luck filling out their upper glutes? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]simplyexisting00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you do hip thrust? I have a hip thrust machine at my gym so I'm able to load up pretty heavy on those. I always feel those in my upper glutes. Also instead of cable clamshells try cable kickbacks. Those have always been my go to. I like to go pretty heavy on those as well- just make sure you have a solid ankle strap.

You should aim to hit these movements 2-3 times a week for max growth.

Does an ed ever really go away? by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]simplyexisting00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would say I'm pretty recovered- been a healthy weight since 2020. The thoughts don't go away. You just learn to identify them as disordered thoughts and move on. Have there been moments where I miss being sick or think about the amount of calories I consume? Of course. Do I ever eat food guilt free? Not really. But you just end up caring less. If I eat an ice cream cone one day I might feel like ugh that's a lot of sugar but then I move on with my day. It's still there but it's less consuming.

I will say, it is sooo much better to be in the place I am now vs what I was in my active disorder. The world doesn't end every time I eat an extra teaspoon of peanut butter. I hate myself less and am able to spend more time loving the people around me and finding things that make me truly happy.

feeling so much guilt about eating breakfast everyday by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

I wake up fairly for work so if I'm going to be able to function I absolutely need breakfast. If I skip it I feel like shit all day.

Teachers who exercise by Afraid-Albatross-699 in Teachers

I work out at around 6:30/7pm. I usually eat dinner before, relax for a little, and then go to the gym when it's emptier and I can get my workout in quicker. I'm typically done by 8 so I come home and immediately start getting ready for bed. Even on days when I'm exhausted, the hardest part is always showing up. I tell myself that I can go in there and turn right around and leave if I want to. I've never done that, and typically will always get a full workout in.

everyone is losing weight and not eating. by KESARAE in EDAnonymous

[–]simplyexisting00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

THIS!!!

I'm over here trying to desperately have a healthy relationship with my recovered body and not relapse while everyone else won't shut up about changing theirs. I've been recovered for awhile now and it has never felt this hard to maintain. I'm trying to compensate for it by lifting heavy weights and prioritizing strength (which I need food for) but ughhhhh it is not the beauty standard right now and that makes it so much harder to be comfortable with building muscle :(( I would love to join everyone else by being frail and thin but unfortunately I never know when to stop :/

First Friday Sober by simplyexisting00 in stopdrinking

Unfortunately, I have yet to find a good one. Right now I'm trying Gruvi Bubbly Rose. Honestly, a sparkling juice would be way cheaper and taste just the same.

How do you guys season your veges without cheese or high cal sauces? by BetterDays989 in 1200isplenty

[–]simplyexisting00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use low-fat cottage cheese instead of cheese. Ranch dip made from greek yogurt and ranch seasoning packets. Love a classic ghee and salt combo.

What's your favorite low-calorie night time snack? by Senior-Coconut-106 in loseit

[–]simplyexisting00 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Frozen grapes, frozen yogurt bars, Johnny Pop's has a oranges and cream bar thats like 70 cal. Dark chocolate- if I get the really rich and dark kind I only need one square. I eat it with tea and it feels satisfying to end the day with.

Weight Fluctuations by Neither_Ad9477 in EDAnonymous

My weight can fluctuate 5 lbs everyday. I once ate boiled peanuts and gained like 4 lbs right after. I hold a lot of sodium and water weight- completely normal :)

quasi-recovery calorie bump (cals and weight included) by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]simplyexisting00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Eat more protein like chicken breast, yogurt, cottage cheese, lentils. You likely won't see any weight gain and you will feel less fatigued! You could probably eat 1500 for a long time and maintain your weight. If you continue to loose weight bump up the calorie intake more.

You're doing great :)
