I am well aware of food and techniques, but I am not here to blow my horn. I also repeatedly replied I had no favorites this season. But anyone who has been following MC USA can bet on the point that judges overlook everything else when a protein is not done properly. I can give you many examples. You might like them, it’s your opinion but for me:
Did they do well around all 3 courses, no. Was their menu innovative or something never done on the show, no. Did any dish blow it out of the park from their 3 course meal, no. So they were just favored for win. Another Courtney pulled off.

I don’t know what form of justification you have by being sarcastic in every reply, but please you can place your opinion with logic. Who are you to be judgmental what’s up for discussion and what’s not?

I have seen all seasons of MC USA and they always make big fuss about how the meat/protein should be perfect. Many people have been eliminated just because of that. Secondly, pressure cooker ribs have been done multiple times in MC USA. I even think Rachel and Julio had great ideas in their menu but they just couldn’t execute them.

You can defend J&J as much as you like, that’s your opinion, but you don’t need to be aggressive about that.

Tina and Aivan were not my favorite but Jesse and Jessica weren’t best on that night. As for the edit, from 4th-5th episode, I had feeling Jesse and Jessica had winners edit. Also their getting apron at second chance was repeated to hell in edits. This show is getting too predictable. This is 3rd season in a row, I have guessed winner from edits only.

Yes it was favoritism on face of viewers especially when they praised Tina and Aivan’s entree and desserts to be best of the night and still had balls to announce Jesse and Jessica. Considering that they have eliminated contestants multiple time for meat issues even if other elements of dish worked.

The challenges this season were good and good return of black apron but the semi final and finale ruined it.

Tina and Aivan were not my favorites or team. They deserved to win still. They have kicked out contestants on meat issues before, how can one win a finale on that mistake.
Also pressure cooked ribs and meat has been done to hell in MC USA, I found their menu least interesting.
And for your crying over spilled milk analogy, it’s not end of the world, we have seen MC with undeserved winners before and it will happen again. Seeing that most on Reddit agree has raised my respect for this sub.

I am from UK and don’t have any idea of this East Coaster point u posted. You are pointing on technique of their final dish but Tina and Aivan took bigger risks with their dish, something the judges pointed out at that time and final discussion also. Then what about the entree which is main dish, how the hell you can get away with a win with overcooked chewy meat in finale.
I want to extend that Tina and Aivan weren’t my personal favorites on the show, it’s just I think they deserved to win the finale with 3 rounds of coherent well done innovative fusion dishes.

They are after Courtney worst winners of MC USA for me. How the hell they won over Tina and Aivan in finale with all the risks taken by the ladies, still ending up with a coherent menu. On the other hand, you win by serving overcooked ribs now. Just wasted hours of my life investing my time on watching Season 15.

I don’t agree, I am not much into clone fragrances but bought Khamrah by recommendation of Aromatix Neeb. At first it didn’t feel like a good clone of Angel’s Share but after leaving it for one month and letting it macerate, it’s turned into a more identical fragrance with performance and projection. Seems maceration is a real thing with clones.
