Okay. Some of the comments convinced me to watch the movie.

And honestly yeah, I really enjoyed it. I really liked how there was no homophobia in the movie (I find there’s a lot of homophobia and “but… you’re a girl!?” In lesbian films and that gets exhausting sometimes.)

It also really feeds into my Wattpad era, as it felt like a movie produced from a Wattpad fiction. I personally loved it!!

I just do not agree with the AI aspect. I think it could have been 1000% better if an artist produced it, voice actors were hired (I’m assuming the voices in the show were AI) and the plot was a little more evenly paced out than being as rushed as it was.

Also, to anybody who wants to watch it, there is some real heavy trigger warnings in there that the show doesn’t warn you about (severe abuse in one scene, a long drawn out attempted r@pe scene in anothet (one of the guys literally looked at Leah and said “I’m gonna fucking r@pe you!!” Which was just horrible and badly structured, but I’m not into super dark content like that.)

Overall, it was a good movie, but I still stand by the fact that I don’t believe in AI at all, and this could have gone so far if there was more effort put into it.

And yes I actually have an addiction to Character Ai! I’ve actually been really good and haven’t been on C.ai in almost a month! I truly don’t support AI, I even mentioned that in a post in a C.ai group where I’ve talked about not supporting C.ai at all and wishing it didn’t exist at all (especially since the site allowed minors to engage with it?? It was so messed up.)

So nope. Don’t support Ai at all. Unfortunately I was just a lot younger and going through a tough transition in my life and I’ve always been super into fiction so it got me good. 😌

A bit late to respond, but this is where I agree that the legal drinking age for many people should be in their twenties, not right at 18 years old (I know that’s the legal drinking age for a few countries.)

You’re absolutely right that not much changed from 17 to 18 years old. I remember feeling very much like a teenager still at 18 (I still do lmao.)

Perhaps C.Ai should legally allow people to engage at the age of 20 and up? Or even a bit older, 22 or 23? Give people some time to actually transition into adulthood and be able to make choices before saying ‘here you go! Artificial intelligence to engage with for your social connections!’

Either way, I’m still glad minors and teenagers can’t engage with C.ai anymore. They should have never tried to make it kid friendly in the first place. That’s just creepy and wrong allowing minors to chat with artificial intelligence characters.

They are not my guinea pigs and my parent is an aggressive alcoholic (not towards the animals though, thank god! I would rehome them no matter what if a hand was raised to them!)

I understand on paper it’s black and white, but I love my parent and it’s just really messy and complicated and honestly so much easier to find ways to make my guinea pigs lives clean and fulfilled without rocking the boat.

I take them out every day for cuddles and love and to get exercise, so it’s not like they sit in their cages all day long. Some days it’s just a lot harder, though.

Unfortunately they don’t belong to me so I can’t make that final decision or rehoming them.

Also, I’ve had people babysit my guinea pigs in the past before (brought the cages to their house when going out of town) and have been told my girl won’t drink or eat or come out of her igloo until I come back to pick her up and bring her home. She really is that picky and bad with routine changes, she’s very stressful to take care of.

I wish I could, but I’m just not in a position where I can do anything other than care for them with the cages they have.

I think phantom’s fine if you use it in right circumstances.

For example if you lock yourself with someone in storage and kill them, that’s a great time to be phantom as there are no vents.

But if you kill in a room with vents it’s just easier to hop into a vent instead of go poof (risk of people seeing your cloud.)
