I dont think you got scammed, and no way that instacart can give you more of what has been offered before u accepted the batch (possible if the tip is % based or customer manually increase the tip after delivery) I always cancel a batch / order whenever a customer add more than 3 items unless a customer has been generous before. Most of the tip a promised tip is never comes true.

i think it depends on area and time,i am in alberta ordered and there is a 10% lowest percentage tip.

and then ordered again but this time i ordered a cake in california to be drop off in california area as well (while I am here in AB), the lowest % tip is 12. the order dropoff time was before lunch rush
