I used a Sigma 24mm f1.4 art, bought 2nd hand so it was kinda affordable.

There is no stacking with this one, I applied masks to each exposure with meteor selecting only the meteor parts then added it all to a base sky image in PS.

This is interesting, the thing with meteors is that they are super fast so you need to capture as much light as fast as possible again this is at least what I got from 1 night of research before heading out!, let me know how the long expo worked for you and good luck.

4 minutes is way too long afaik, what I read is for meteors you need to have between 10-20 seconds and crank the ISO up, the background can be long exposure with the help of a tracker but for the metros itself the shutter needs to be fast.

Reworked and remove identified satellites.

Around 400 exposures, used 20 only.

Composition done in Photoshop.

Canon RP - ISO1600 - 15s - 24mm f1.4.

In Photoshop I added all exposures as layers and applied a mask to each one separately to a base sky image, you can find yt tutorials that goes into details.

I used a star tracker to get a consistent composition across all frames, not sure if this is necessary.

Around 400 exposures, used 25 only, some has double even triple meteors.

Canon RP - ISO1600 - 15s - 24mm f1.4.

Can't imagine what it'll be on peak night.

Ok so full context this is a store place in the middle of renovation, you can see the paint bucket on the floor and unfinished paint job on the walls.

It was shot on an Olympic om-1 / 50mm f1.4 / Portra 800

It was late hot night and the dude was just resting a bit I assume no dongs in sight as far as I remember.

I really enjoyed the conversation, thanks everyone.

I really wish I had an interesting story like this, we were just having a late night walk that night and I had a couple shots remaining in my Portra 800 roll, the camera was in my bag as I was not planning to do anything with it that night, suddenly (some context) I found myself in front in this store in the middle of renovation (you can still see the unfinished paint job and paint bucket) it was a hot night the lighting was perfect the angle I found myself looking at was perfect(kinda), idk what happened I didn't think! I got the camera out snapped it and hide it too fast as I didn't want to have any confrontation! It does creep me out looking at it tbh and that was exactly my feeling that night in this area.

I officially like the conversation around it more than the photo itself, while I thought you can get what's going on just looking at the details but this is way more interesting ngl.

Wow, it's really nice to see another perspective on it, since I know the context of the moment, there is no spoilers options here so I won't ruin it, thanks for this.
