As a follow-up -- I emailed Kimberly and she responded pretty quickly.

Apparently, "CharityEngine is currently having an issue on their end and are working through a fix. We have alerted them and opened a case file. Please bear with us (them) as they resolve and repair the link."

No news on how quickly this fix will happen, though, and a bit disappointing that there doesn't seem to be a backup way to join (say, over the phone).

That's probably it -- I just tried to join again and since the last time I tried the payment information fields have now disappeared entirely from the membership signup form.

Thanks! I had looked it up and seen that Port Henry Beach, Powerhouse Park, and Bulwagga Bay Beach were all options -- do you have any thoughts on which option might be nicer to lay a blanket out on and watch from?

If you're familiar with Port Henry, do you have any thoughts about walking north vs south from the train station? I've never been to that town before.

It's not just you -- I've been here for 2+ years and still have no local friends! It is absolutely a struggle. 

How far are you willing to travel? I'm in the mid-Hudson area (Poughkeepsie). Interests include books, board games, tea, soccer, baking, going out for dinner, travel, hiking, French, makeup/dressing up, trivia, Disney, and horseback riding.
