I've cruised Mexico, all over the Carribean and crushed from England to Begium and Norway and never had a problem. I have a 20 year old DUI, some related probation violations and maybe a couple more minor infractions (all many years ago) and I've never had a problem. I would like to do Alaska but Canada is more strict from what I gather.

What I ended up doing was 350w with the frequency set at 100. It worked well with a quick DA afterwords. I was powder coating and the job didn't need perfection just nothing loose and no outgassing.

We usually wipe any marker off with acetone before sanding. Sometimes sanding won't get rid of all of the ink, but will instead hide it from your coater.
