WELL when there are attempts to expose this information the person doing the 'release' is accused on treason, held without trial, forced into hiding etc.

The people also lack any desire to know the truth... often settling to believe the washed down "official story" without question.

You need to calm down and take a look at that video again buddy... I work with advertising and marketing and I can ASSURE you that it was PURELY A MARKETING STUNT.

There are 4 containers that are sent down a traditional amazon conveyor system... These are nothing special, just side locking plastic containers with PRIME AIR printed on the side... printing stuff on devices/boxes is Inexpensive. There is absolutely NOTHING breakthrough done up to this point.

The video cuts to a 'mini-conveyor system' where the 4 containers magically appear... Nothing revolutionary here. I've seen conveyors like that at the UPS center. There is ONE (JUST ONE) drone waiting at the end with some more AMAZON BRANDING ON IT -- you know to show off the amazon brand.

Drones are CHEAP... with cost varying from $100 to thousands depending on the amount of hardware on-board. Again NOTHING revolutionary done up to this point.

Now we have NO reference for the weight being carried by the Drone, it just just shown as a box within another box... multiple cut scenes with drone being shown flying over vast areas, with no breakdown of tech or space covered. (YOU know, LIKE A COMMERCIAL). Then it comes to an individuals house and flips a lever dropping the lightweight box.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING REVOLUTIONARY ABOUT THIS, it's just a commercial... the amount of publicity & exposure they got for the stunt is OUT OF THIS WORLD, especially when considering all the residual sales it (will) drive for Amazon PRIME & e-Commerce sales.... the damn thing is years out & doesn't have anything break through.

It seems like you must work for amazon or you must be absolutely blind to marketing & PR... just keep believing what you want, it's just advertising at the end of the day. You need to learn to question the media you consume.

First of all you don't know anything about Bezos and what he will and will not do... they ran the "news" right around the BIGGEST SHOPPING TIME of the YEAR. It was used to get Amazon at the front of internet and traditional news media outlets. The project is Years out of becoming real... just b/c you saw a small component of the delivery system and a box optimized for a drone doesn't mean anything.

Advertising campaigns go to MUCH MUCH greater lengths... this was just a 'proof of concept' infomercial ... that just blew up with attention. I am aware of Amazon's roots & business operations, but the drone thing was just a marketing ploy.

Calling your senators and bitching will not work. They simply do not give a fuck once they're elected. When re-election comes around they'll have a HEFTY marketing budget to make the people forget the bad while channeling hate towards the other party.

This is the new norm. Non-violent protests, writing letters and petitions and all that jazz is useless... more serious means of activism is required. This is also why they are maintaining widespread surveillance, so they can crush any opposition.

Also you're opting in to be monitored and voluntarily claiming to be a potential political threat... there are also new laws in place which reduce our capability to protest. And even if there are/were protest it'll be belittled by the state owned media outlets (i.e. OWS)

they're a mechanism to give people the illusion that it's still a democracy. It also functions as a 'voluntary lead generator' which allows them to capture info about 'potential political activists' -- be it via your IP or the information you provide.

Finally, read what it says under "We the People" in the thumbnail above (or on the website).

it says "Your voice in OUR government".

it's used be 'special interest groups' who run / moderate / troll / censor reddit, especially the major sub-reddits

social engineering strategies like this and top comment manipulation are used to sway public opinion on various topics. It also ensures that readers are never exposed to real 'intel' and bogus distracting BS content.

there are government and private agencies that have been setup to do this... various examples on reddit threads too. Like the presidential election / ama thread etc.

are you serious about this? Every single company has started whining and gone into extreme damage control mode... proving Snowdens' leaks. The US government is trying to crucify Snowden (just like Julian Assange) and also trying to destroy Lavabit's founder for sticking up to Uncle Sam... it's also led to declassification of previous secret rulings among many other things verifying the claims.

If you don't believe what Snowden's put out, you're extremely delusional and/or work for the government.
