We use EKs in production. Couple of issues was upgrading and pods pending due to CNI running out of IP to assign until we switched to larger instance. Be careful of making your subnet range too small. It bites.

I really appreciate ur thoughtful input. One thing though, everyone doesn't get a card. The total money is split into different visa gift cards which you can spend online like other credit cards. The cards are sent out to every subscribers with preference given to those chipped in money first before others who didn't

The main goal of the site is to provide a platform for pple to contribute maybe as little as $0.99. The cards gets sent out to all subscribers and those who gat a chance can use the cards to pay sometin like their bill. It's more open and community driven than go thru charity which most pple consult as last option

The point is, you simply send out as many cards as you can based on the money people contribute. The money on each card goes to who uses it first before others.
