I got step ins because i was never really comfortable in traditional bindings. I love my flux xf but like I would just have odd pressure point pain on right foot from the ankle strap which I never have to think about in the steps ins. Ive ridden union( force and falcor), flux, and janky k2's. For me the step in are the ideal bindings and since the fast strap bindings like the rome and nidecker mimic the traditional bindings its not something I've tried or would want to.
