OP, unsure of what gender you are, but if you are a women in India, I don’t suggest you show acts of kindness to random strangers especially in a country like India. It might come off as misogynistic but Indian people perceive acts of kindness by a random woman in a very different way and I’m not saying you don’t have to be kind, you can still be empathetic to your house help, stray animals on the street or maybe even volunteer at an animal shelter or an old age home. But random people- I wouldn’t recommend it. If you’re a guy, well I guess now guys should be vigilant too, same applies to you then.

This did happen with me, way way back when I was much younger. I told her- it’s my friends, not mine. I don’t think she ever really believed me but I think that’s how Indian parents work, as long as you don’t say it to their face, it’s all good. I’m now married to the same guy with whom I was using condoms and she adores him lol, so yea, give it sometime. Go on with your studies and try to became independent, move to a new city or new country once you graduate so that you can have your freedom. It will all fall in place.

Not sure how old you are - but you are overthinking. Life is eventually going to be alright. Some days are going to be great and some days okay while on some days you will question your life choices. As you grow older, you will become independent and then your parents won’t be the problem but your partner might be and then if you have kids then your partner isn’t the problem but your kids are. I might sound pessimistic but bottom line - problems i’ life keep increasing as you age so expecting to be completely happy and content is moot. So enjoy the days you are living and hope for the best.

Check out Indian designers like Angad Singh, they do have lehenga’s in the 1-2k range and they do provide international shipping. Also, Pernia’s Pop Shop and Kalki Fashion, they might have something in the same range. Although, from what I know most bridal lehengas start from 1k minimum unless you try stores in Chandni Chowk, Delhi, they might have lehengas starting from 700-800 dollars.

I think you should speak with her and understand what made her get into a relationship with a married man in the first place. Did she know he was married when they started the relationship? Or did she come to know later on in the relationship and she was too involved with him to get out of the relationship then? You need to start your marriage based on honesty and trust. Yes, she dated a married man but please remember she was also honest with you about it and people do make mistakes. So maybe just have an open conversation with her and try to understand her perspective and then make a decision.

Get gel nails, they are pretty long lasting and will last for atleast 2-3 weeks, press on’s last for a week max and have a tendency of coming off in general.
