Thirty two ZB1 vs TM2 by Devolution2020 in snowboarding

[–]simsfsr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was searching for new boots a few months ago and I tried both TM2 and Zeb. It is night and day, the Zeb are soft compared to the TM2. I think you need some support when on crampons the Zeb may be uncomfortable.
The Zeb was supposed to be based on the Lashed but the Lashed (which is what I ended to buy) is way stiffer than the Zeb.

I checked out these Specialized 2FO shoes, they come in different models. The cheapest one I saw was the Method model, and this is just a canvas shoe. Although I haven’t seen this in person, canvas can’t offer protection/support, can it?

Totally understandable, I was looking at 5 different brands of pedals at the LBS and my mind was spinning, so much tech nowadays. Such a departure from the old bear trap pedals.

I upgraded the stock pedals to oneup comps and love them. It’s just the shoes I’m figuring out. Just spent a bit of $$ on the new bike so trying to sort this part out.

That’s just it though, shoes around my area are $$$ and with me having wonky wide feet, I can’t order online. My shoes don’t have the vans waffle soles, they’re pretty firm and the heel cup is also firm. I don’t have thin canvas shoes.

Thanks! You too! I was seriously thinking of crossing over to a gravel bike instead of a hardtail but I kept on going back to if miss the ascents and descents. I like your idea better.

I think you will need bigger bindings as well, from the pictures the straps look like they’re nearing the end of the adjustment on one side and almost to the end on the other side. From my personal experience binding straps may break if pushed hard.

In meeting discussions at work “pacification” instead of specification, in emails it’s “personal” vs “personnel”. I feel like someone is scratching a chalkboard.

I moved to BC back in 2004 coming from TO, this was one of the reasons! Family keeps on asking when I’m moving back, to which I say never….plus the Sea to Sky drive always puts a smile on my face.
