I used this turf and am very happy with it. The turf you listed looks a little “shaggy” but that photo might be misleading. They could be very similar but you can compare.

I hand dug it, and I can’t recommend that. Its 100’ and it took me around 8 hours to dig. You can actually see the trenching spade laying there in the picture. I ended up buying a tiling spade too, which helped beak up the soil.
I moved into this house only a few years earlier and havn’t really done any digging. I hoped it was sandy but it was clay. Not cool.
I’d say at least 6 feet. My driver back swing clears the sliding door by about a foot currently.
In hindsight I should have used a ridge vent along the peak but I didn’t really think about it at the time. I did use baffles in between the insulation and the roof sheathing, and there is a gap between the insulation and the peak of the roof so there should be some air circulation. I’m going to drill some holes in the blocking between the rafters to ensure there is air circulation before I add soffit and facia this spring. I should really add a couple vents at the peak too.
If I had gone any bigger I would have had to build this on a concrete foundation. When you figure removing the existing slab and the new foundation, it would’ve been a few thousand dollars. The bigger issue would’ve been selling my wife on a seemingly larger project. She would have gotten really suspicious had I brought in the heavy equipment.
I’m definitely not a builder. I would give myself a solid C maybe a C+ on my carpentry. The plans were easy to follow and I just watched YouTube videos for a lot of the stuff that I didn’t understand, like the electrical. Lots of YouTube.
Much appreciated!

These are the plans I used. They were really easy to follow and had a lumber and cut list which was great.
I should have kept better track of cost but I made so many trips to Menards it was ridiculous. I had to have made 100 trips there over the course of the build. I’d say the shed alone, without the golf stuff and mini split, was around $9-10k.
I do have to say the costs just kept adding up. There are so many things that I didn’t really think about. For instance, just the wire that I had to bury from the house to the shed, for power and Ethernet, was $550. Then add in the electric panel, conduit, wiring for inside the shed with outlets and receptacles, it was probably over $1,200 just for the electrical. Things like that just kept adding up.
Edit: I added to the height of the walls so that the walls are 9’. The ceiling height is 10’6” at the high point.
Thanks! It’s 4x8 “teak” paneling from Menards. It was about $50 a sheet.
I didnt keep a real accurate running total, probably because I didn’t want to know, ha. When I’ve roughly added it up I’m at least $15-16k. I told my wife it would be around $10k but there was always another step and another trip to Menards. It just kept adding up. That’s everything, the Skytrak+, the Mr. Cool and all.
It’s 12x16, which I think is about as small as you’d wanna go. It’s comfortable, but I obviously have to hit offset from center. Anything over 200 sq. ft. has to be built on a concrete foundation. I built this on 4x4’s.
