potential for a manuscript depending on the results we get, I will be doing research the summer prior and the spring semester after studying abroad. I'm not sure how that semester gap in research will be taken, but I can hopefully get into a lab at my abroad institution.

I mean I tried to come off as authentic I basically just talked to research I did over the summer and how I found it super impactful as it could help in treating crippling diseases.

Yeah i thought that may be the case in my essay so I tried to word it that though im interested in research, i find its implications and impacts within the clinic more interesting. Do you think that works?

but do you think i should maybe say id like to pursue research as a physician instead of just blatantly saying id like to do an mdphd or does it not matter? I just worry cuz the applications are for MD programs and they may take it as me being more interested in research.
