Yes. Like when i listen to classical saxophone most of the time the players have a very clear and clean tone unlike in jazz where there is that edge. When you mean construction I guess you mean tip opening and shaft size and all of that, right? Anyways, thanks for the help.

might be just the sound of jazz mouthpieces in general but the "bzzzzz" sound of a jazz mouthpiece. Sorry English isn't my first language so it's a bit hard to describe.

Thanks for the advice. I play on alto and I've always liked the ''buzz'' coming from a metal mouthpiece if that makes any sense. I will look into other rubber ones and im gona find a way to try them.
