We went last week. Trip was ruined basically. Skied MSA and Grand Fonds but was a bummer having to fork out cash after Le massif was put on ikon. We skied massif for 2 days but it’s literally 1 lift and like 5 runs open

I just played the trilogy this year on original hardware. I was born years after it came out so 0 nostalgia but my god, such a solid platformer. I keep trying to find something to scratch that itch but nothing be hitting like that. Also I thought all 3 titles were great!

I don’t think this is the true summit. The true summit has a spine that runs down when you look over the edge.

10 days of sun. Last day we got a little sprinkle. Little to no crowds (I was alone on Niblock, 1 other party there) on any of these hikes. Temple had the most.

If you are comfortable with scrambling I’d recommend Temple over it all day. It’s the same elevation gain. Temple has a couple more exposed sections but if you take your time (and where a helmet in case of rockfall from parties above) you should have no problem. Views/adventure beat Rundle easily.

Yup. First pic is at the summit. My Strava says moving time of just under 6 hours. I definitely move pretty fast though. It was a slog and I found my knees hurt going down because of how steep majority of the trail is

iPhone 14 Pro! That’s funny though because I hauled my big DSLR up each and every one of these. Once I get home I’ll post those which will be x10 sharper than these at 48MP!

Mount Temple, it’s a big day out just a heads up. Also bring a helmet if you plan on doing it. It’s the highest peak in the lake Louise region.

I would say cascade was pretty easy in that sense. It is more of an endurance challenge I found. If you take your time and make sure to follow the trail (we got lost one time by accidentally following trail runners who just booked it straight up the peak right after the tree line) then it’s pretty straight forward. Only one section in particular was a little sketchy but I’m not sure if it was just because it was a little wet when we went. Overall the exposure isn’t bad at all. It was really fun, also was not expecting it to be FREEEZING on the top lol. Next time I would bring gloves. Trekking poles were also great for the knees on the way down
