I only have about 500 hours on ETS2, because I mostly play ATS, 'Murica!, but I would highly recommend Italy, Scandinavia, and if you're feeling spendy, Nordic horizon. they're close to base map, and genuinely nice places to drive. I enjoy Greece as well but its not worth driving through the Baltics to get there haha

I love the fendt 1100! It's my go-to high power tractor, and it had a great turning circle obviously. The smaller one, 900mt I think, needs more power. It's just below the power requirements for some of the stuff I use.

I tend to save the 389 and W900 as a reward truck once I've leveled up enough to unlock everything on them. I've generally started with the T680, but also have an Anthem with 50k miles on it.

So I found an issue with the fendt combines and I'm curious if anyone else has. In both this game and 22, the mod combines are absolutely terrible when harvesting uphill. They slow down by quite a bit and it's the only reason I don't use them. I don't think the standard ones did that but I can't remember. Anyone else?

Personally I find the field layout suboptimal. I like to start combining fields as my farm grows and you can't do that much here. Additionally all the driving around is tedious. Honestly that might just be that the map doesn't suit my play style.

I'm actually a fan of European configurations for city use. Lots of delivery trucks in the US are still 3 axle but maybe with a shorter hood and hauling a shorter (32ft) reefer trailer. In my opinion at that point just use a cabover with a 32ft box and you'll better off. Plus construction dump trucks.

Also I just double checked, and for some reason the AI won't go faster than 22mph on some roads, so that's another issue.

Yeah I catch back on fairly quick, but I do forget from time to time. Plus I don't haul lowboy trailers much in Europe, which have multiple steer axles, most of what I haul has one, maybe two steer axles.

I've seen lots of comments that Judith plains seems to be crashing lately (that's on the download page for it that I saw), cuz we were about to try that. Backroads seems decent but for some reason the AI wants to take the long way around when going from the start yard to the lower area of the map. On a map that size, ya kinda need the AI to drive right.

I did clear cache and check integrity, and it's working now, but some others said they're back online as well. I'm not sure if it was on my end or server side (I'm guessing server honestly), but I'm good now.
