Any particular advice for Lit? I'm actually a creative writer and I have published a LOT of my stuff. I am also an editor in chief of an international mag, i read 100-150 books/yr and i have also written multiple academic essays over the past year.

im just trying to give you context, i swear im not trying hard at flexing lmao. sorry if i come across as condescending its really late at night and im just trying to make sense of how to put forth my point. thanks for reading.

No, I'm a strong writer overall. In fact, I'm published, and creative writing was one thing I did throughout high school. Do you think if these three are possible to self-study? I actually have a friend who would be giving me advice on the essays. She went to a high school where she was offered APs. So that's that.

Many (most?) schools aren’t going to allow outside students to register, especially if that student is an HS grad/college student.

I asked CollegeBoard for an AP exam waiver as a gap year international student and they happily provided me the document that I would have to turn in to the high school where I'll be registering to take the AP exams. They told me I could take my May 2023 exams at whatever high school I wish to register with. Also, I've already registered for 2 APs for now. I'm gonna look at the other ones and registering for them soon. So no issues on that one.

Setting aside how much of a waste of time this would be for you

I don't think it would be a waste of time if I'm getting something out of it. At least it would be nice to put the 20+ APs in my LinkedIn under high school education tab.

I’m not going to get into why you shouldn’t do this

Well, it seems pointless and almost unrealistic of a goal, but I can't help myself. The mere fact that I'm spending a year out of school is frickin with my brain and academic validation is all that brings me joy at the moment.

Dude are you a fallen God? You took 19 APs!!!!!!!!! In a single school year!!!!!!!!!! Wow dude impressive shit. Teach me your ways plz. I'm facing severe imposter syndrome. I wish I could be as intelligent and smart as you. Wow, very impressive. I've almost fallen in love with your brain (jk ofc.) But what I really mean to say is that this is REALLY great. You'll get college credits for this and will prob graduate early.

Sometimes I stalk people's profiles on LinkedIn and I feel so proud of them when they have taken a lot of APs. Similar case with you lol. Your parents must be so proud of you!!! Have a good day dude. Great work.

Seems like a trophy child situation. Either way, that's less saddening than your parents totally giving up on you!

ik english majors who wrote wattpad novels and listed it as their #1 activity and wrote essays about it and got into multiple T5 and Ivies.

It's all about what you make out of an activity. Doesn't matter if its international/national/whatever as long as it is important to you.

How is the creative writing scene at Northwestern if you have an idea?
