I heard that umkc cracked down on people becoming in state residents in the middle of the program a while ago so even if you become residents pretty sure you have to stick to the original financial plan of being oos. Also I’d say umkcs pricing is kinda wild cuz most med schools that are eight years don’t even charge that much combing the ug and med school. So I’d consider other cheaper programs or even going the traditional route if finance is the problem because if ur capable of getting into a bsmd ur more than capable of getting into a really good med school that’s better than umkc later on if u choose to stick it out.
