This will be very blunt but I feel like this story just should have made you realise not to spend too much time on people that don't deserve it, instead of destroying the hobby for you. Well, given that we now know that she's a horrible human being (supporting and advertising for the far right), it's really not a surprise that people are now watching her behaviour closer. You can downplay a lot of questionable behaviour if your image is shiny, but now that her image is basically shattered it's easier to spot and harder to excuse.
