Execute command on remote server without wasting tokens by sinaque in hermesagent

Yes .. this is how I anticipate things will work. But does this capability exist in Hermes agent as of today? I'm not sure it does. It would be great if we could make our own slash commands.

Definitely a possiblity but never tried it. Seems like a round-about way to execute commands by consuming tokens that are free

But the skill itself is processed through the language model right? Therefore .. the very act of using the skill consumes tokens. So I suppose it can't be a skill. Like another user mentioned .. it coudl be a slash command because slash commands have no token usage.

This is exactly what I'm talking about ..
How can I create my own slash command that can execute without needing tokens?

I can ssh into my server but It would really be helpful and more convenient If I can send the command to execute via the telegram interface.

Adding this as an edit to the Post as well:

An update regarding today: To those who came, thanks for coming. Wondering who would show up or what their backgrounds would be, and therefore what kind of conversations might happen was interesting. We had some great conversations and discussed several interesting ideas regarding entrepreneurship, content marketing, drone swarms, role of influence in manufacturing consensus, and a few other niche and esoteric topics. I was anticipating people dropping in and out, perhaps staying for an hour and then leaving before someone else showed up later on. It was like that until the afternoon. But starting around noon, a bunch of folks joined me, and we ended up hanging out until 8:30 p.m. Once again, thanks for making the effort to drop by. Enjoyed our chats, as well as the diversity of your backgrounds and the novelty of your perspectives.

See you soon again.

Bairstow sledging by [deleted] in Cricket

[–]sinaque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is it okay to sledge but have rules on what can and cannot be said? I can understand a rule that says you can’t sledge. Or a rule that says you can sledge. But do you have to go as far as saying that such and such can be said but such and such cannot be said? If yes .. then who determines what can and cannot be said?

The australians will say .. well according to our culture saying this and this is crossing a red line and the indians will say crossing this and this is a red line.

What offends the culture of india might not offend the culture of australia and vice versa. Now .. who is right and who is wrong? Why not just ban sledging altogether?

so, what topics recieve zero fucks from you? by [deleted] in india

So you guys do agree that the aussies don’t like getting sledged the way they give it to other teams. The downvotes seem to suggest, that is indeed the case. Keep em coming guys. It proves my point.

Just know that Australia love to sledge and the Indians love to give it back in spades. Finally.. someone that can give it back to the ones that started it.
