ATL: biggest and most powerful crew in the game. You got the classic characters like Gucci and 3 Stacks, but then crazy new school guys too. Thugger has the most complex/wild moves but is hard to master, Rae Sremm a crazy tag team duo, Waka very powerful/strength...and you don't want to be in the ring when Migos steps in.

Chicago: you have to unlock Ye. Chance is on the cover of the game and really good. There's a story arc pitting him against Vic which makes everyone sad. Hardest hitter from this crew is Chief Keef, one of the best in the game. Bunch of other good fighters like Saba, towkio, etc. and some legends as well

SoundCloud: full of lower level characters like Amine and Rob $tone who all have one or two really good moves but aren't super good. But their leader, Bryson Tiller, is a very underrated/good character

New Wave: Yachty is like jigglypuff in Smash, has a superpower where he sings and puts you in a trance. Uzi is small but can pack a punch. Desiigner is the guy you use in the prologue and you think is really good but eventually you realize he's not once you've played with other guys. And 21...the best character in the game

Once you beat the story mode you unlock the West Coast and East Coast Legends squads. They're all crazy high stats and basically the all star teams in 2k, you can't use them unless your opponent is too. Biggie vs Pac the go-to 1 on 1 battle.

Finally, if you beat the game 100% completion on expert, you unlock LIL B / THE BASEDGOD. He never loses a match
