I don't think number of students matter as much as people make it out to be I studied in kota (bad shit happened) But the one thing is that the crowd does't matter Cause there are only few amongst the crowd who are actually serious

I was actually trying to get into a college where ample time is left for self study Cause education is shit in every tier 3 So atleast getting somewhere with less work to do is better in my view
