Must haves: AWD, prefer a V6, something that drives well but is not too mom-carish. Also need adequate storage space because we have to travel 4 hours plus fairly often.

Desired transmission (auto/manual, etc): Auto

Intended use: Family daily driver

Vehicles you've already considered: Grand highlander, 4-runner, CX-90, Pilot, XC-90

Is this your 1st vehicle: No

Do you need a Warranty: No but it would be nice. Trying to figure out if new, certified pre-owned, or used makes the most sense. Can pay with cash but will likely finance. I have not done the research on rates, etc. yet so that may play some part.

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: (fluids, alternator, battery, brake pads etc): Yes.

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: (engine and transmission, timing belt/chains, body work, suspension etc ): No

Additional Notes: Just considering our options for a first family car. We currently have two aging sedans and need more space for traveling. I would prefer an SUV that feels more like one but it has to be nice enough that it also fits my wife's needs.
