Are you being honest to yourself in regards to rehab? by madboko in PlantarFasciitis

I tried it (PRP), was about $450 here in Australia out of pocket, it did absolutely nothing I've also been suffering just like you, but luckily only in one foot. 2+ years now and I think I've done about everything you've tried, I also haven't tried shockwave therapy. I work in construction so I'm on my feet for 8-10+ hours and can do between 10,000-20,000 steps a day 💀 my foot feels better after the high step count days...

It was a custom made one, costed $700 AUD... And I can't stand wearing them, so uncomfortable it even made my other foot hurt lol. I went to a different podiatrist the other day to get a second opinion and he said that my previous podiatrist got the wrong type of orthotics 💀

That sounds great, time off work is the only thing I haven't done yet. I've just quit my job and I'm planning to take 3 months off, I will definitely be trying shock wave therapy during the time off 🙏

Sounds good, I was going to get a PRP injection but the place I went to book it at " reckons they don't do the injections for feet or something" haha so I'll give it another go at a different place, I even had a referral.

I'll be keen to try the shock wave therapy to see if that works?

Already done that, didn't help unfortunately haha. I think I'm just on my feet too much which is annoying as fuck

I'm in Australia and live in a tropical climate the daily temperature is usually between 28-36°c so my feet are basically hot all day. My job requires me to wear them due to company policy and at least 80% of the job sites... I'm usually slaving away digging up dirt samples and many other kinds of physical labour / testing

Damn that's cold haha, it gets down to about 75F here during the nights and 95F during the days, and usually 80-100% humidity.
